Katy Perry s lawyers go after a Left Shark vendor

Katy Perry’s “Left Shark” has become a phenomenon after her Super Bowl performance.

One enterprising 3-D printer started making replicas of the ‘Left Shark’ figure, which he put up for sale for $24.99, shortly after the Super Bowl.

On Wednesday, the guy heard from Katy Perry’s lawyers:

“Our client [Perry] recently has learned that you have been involved in the manufacture, sale, marketing and distribution of merchandise featuring a shark sculpture which embodies and uses the [Super Bowl halftime show], and that you have displayed this product on your website, in connection with such sale and distribution.”

The letter demanded that Shapeways.com cease and desist selling the product, and that he turn over any products he had in his possession.

The tweet was deleted, then the woman’s entire account got deleted but not before she tweeted: “I think I’m in trouble.”

For now, no official word on whether Violet is really the baby’s name.
